Silver Ruby Leaf Ring

Beautiful natural forms captured in pure .999 silver and natural Ruby.
Delicate branches and leaves form this custom ring of pure fine silver with large natural round cut Ruby.
This ring first began its life when it was was cut from an ingot of the purest Silver available, before hot and cold forging into a blank. Then begins many many hours of painstaking work carving every minute detail of the design directly into the metal by hand using a variety of traditional tools and diamond carbide cutting equipment.
After the main form of the ring is archived certain areas of the ring such as the leaves and the inner surfaces of the ring which contact the skin, are given an incredibly high shine gloss finish using the water burnishing technique, this provides that ultimate silky smooth finish that is so exquisite to the toutch, with a mirror like lustrous sparkle for the eye.
The cold forging process used in the production of this ring also has the benifit of hardening the structure of the silver, adding much strength to the metal, helping to protect thoes intricate details for many years to come.
Made entirely by hand in Cornwall England, from the purest fine silver and natural round cut ruby.
