Ruby Tree Ring

A beautiful dainty ring with two trees bare of leaves sitting a top of rocks, who’s branches meet to hold aloft a sparkling Ruby like the last red cherry of summer.
Inspired by the incredible landscapes of Yangshuo in south western China, where ancient gnarled trees grow directly from the fractured verticle towers of rock in the most exquisite forms.

Hand made entirely in Cornwall England, from the purest fine Silver using only traditional tools and techniques. No mass production methods such as casting were used in the making of this ring.

This ring began its life when it was cut from an ingot of fine silver before hot forging the circular form.
It then undergoes a series of cold forging and heat treatment techniques to make the silver as hard as possible.
Once a rough size is achieved hand held diamond cutting equipment is then used to form the comfort style band of the ring, and then to cut the design of the trees and rocks into the upper part of the ring.
The whole peice is then given a water burnished finish for that extra deep and lustrous high gloss shine.
The design is then completed with an exquisite bright red round cut Ruby nestled amongst the branches of the trees.

3mm Round cut natural Ruby.

Ring comes complete with presentation ring box.
